We’ve gathered all the exciting holiday markets around the Soo, so get ready to skip the big box stores and find those unique, handcrafted gifts. Now, let’s dive into the local holiday happenings!

Saturday, November 22nd – Market Madness 

Spark Rehabilitation Holiday Market (November 22nd, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM):

Spark Rehabilitation (589 Second Line E) is hosting its first-ever Holiday Market to help you “Spark The Season!”. This is a great chance to find unique, handcrafted gifts made by local vendors.

Silver Bells Christmas Market (November 22nd, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM):

The popular Silver Bells Market returns to the Water Tower Inn. They feature 50 incredible local vendors. Entry is by donation, with all proceeds going to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, SSM Chapter.

OFRA Ladies Auxiliary Bake & Craft Sale (November 22nd, 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM):

Head to 721 North St for the OFRA Ladies Auxiliary Bake & Craft Sale. You can warm your heart with Christmas cheer, handmade crafts, and delicious Finnish coffee bread.

Late November & Early December – Craft Shows and Sweet Deals

Holiday Treats and Treasures Market (November 29th, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM) :

Everything from local artists, artisans, crafters, holiday baking, preserves, honey, and alpaca creations—anything you need for anyone in your life. This event runs from across three locations: Johnson Community Centre (1 Cameron Drive, Desbarats), Calvary Baptist Church (Lake Huron Drive, Desbarats), and S&S CREATIONS (8418 Hwy 17 just east of Fisher Road).

Hogan’s Homestead Black Friday Weekend (November 28th – 30th):

Hogan’s Homestead (1340 Great Northern Rd) is offering a weekend full of amazing deals, festive finds, and sweet savings for Black Friday. Expect incredible sales both in-store and online on maple products and gifts. They will have extended hours: Friday, Nov 28th (9:00 AM – 8:00 PM), Saturday, Nov 29th (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM), and Sunday, Nov 30th (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

One Stop Christmas Show (November 29th & 30th, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM):

Don’t miss the 11th Annual One Stop Christmas Show & Silent Auction. This show will feature 55+ of Algoma’s best makers. Best of all, money raised goes to help local families stay more comfortable during the holidays in the NICU and Peds ward of SAH.

Steel City Xmas Con (Saturday, December 6th, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM):

Get ready for some truly epic holiday fun at the Steel City Xmas Con held on Saturday, December 6th, at Soo Blaster. Browse vendors offering video games, TCGs, comics, toys, candles, and handmade items like crocheted goods, wreaths, 3D printed objects, and art.

Shop and Sip with the Grinch (Thursday, December 11th, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.):

Local vendors will be gathered at the Bushplane Museum on December 11th for some grinchy goodness.

Hogan’s Homestead 12 Days of Christmas Sales (December 13th – 24th, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.):

Join Hogan’s Homestead for 12 days of festive sales from December 13th to 24th. Each day brings a new surprise deal on maple products, gift sets, and more.
